The new version of the game always brings a refreshing feeling, doesn’t it? Just like the first bite of a refreshing watermelon on a summer day, it fills one’s heart with anticipation. Today, I want to talk to everyone about the update content of version 2.4 of “Resonance.” Although I am just an observer on the edge of the game, this update has really caught my attention.
First and foremost, we have to talk about the new characters! This version update has truly prepared a generous gift for everyone, with two new characters, Kathia and Rupa, like a pair of newlywed brides, wearing their exquisite dresses, ready to take the stage. Kathia is a Wind-type Resonator who wields a swift blade. She has two forms, just like a girl having two different dresses; changing into different dresses naturally gives her a different appearance. As Kathia, she summons various sword shadows, as if setting up a sword performance on the battlefield; but when she transforms into Fleurdelis, she’s like a completely different person, with significantly increased attack power. Her resonance release skill, “Roaring Wind Blade,” sounds like a storm of sword energy, enough to make enemies retreat.
Rupa, on the other hand, is a Magma-type Resonator who wields a long blade. She is not only a character capable of dealing high damage but can also provide support for the team. Her resonance release skill can grant the team “Hunt” and “Glory” effects, which sound like adding a magical buff to the team. Her encore skill can provide the next Resonator with Magma damage and basic attack damage boosts, just like preparing a hearty dinner for teammates, making them stronger in battle.
Next, we have to talk about the gacha pool! The first half of the gacha pool includes characters Kathia, Akashi, Baiji, and Ronghu, while the weapon pool is “Unyielding Crown of Destiny,” a new 5-star swift blade. The second half of the gacha pool includes Rupa, Sana, Taoqi, and Chixia, with the weapon pool being “Flame Scar,” a 5-star long blade. For friends who love gacha, this pool is definitely not to be missed.
Logging in gives you 10 free draws! This is a considerable bonus, allowing everyone to have a small draw experience at the beginning of the new version. While what you get might just be ordinary rewards, it’s still better than nothing. It’s like buying a lottery ticket; even though the chances of winning are low, that tiny bit of hope is enough to keep one’s heart racing.
The new area “Seven Hills” has also been opened in this update. This is a new region located in the tower of Lina, sounding like a new playground added to the game map. For friends who love exploration, this is definitely a lot of fun. While the specific exploration content is still unknown, at least the name sounds interesting.
The new “Stellaluna” set is also a major highlight of this update. “Flame Wolf’s Blaze” and “Journey of Wearing Glory” sound like two different types of sets. The 2-piece set effect of “Flame Wolf’s Blaze” increases Magma damage by 10%, while the 5-piece set effect increases the Magma damage of the team by 15% and the Resonator’s own damage by 20% when releasing resonance, lasting for 35 seconds. The 2-piece set effect of “Journey of Wearing Glory” increases Aero damage by 10%, while the 5-piece set effect increases critical hit rate by 10% and Aero damage by 30% when attacking enemies affected by Wind Erosion, lasting for 10 seconds. Both sets sound extremely powerful, especially the 5-piece effects.
